The development of a non-self-similar liquid-liquid jet of a non-Newtonian reactive liquid is considered with in the framework of the boundary layer theory. The analytic expressions are obtained on the basis of the local similarity method for variation of integral parameters of jet flow along its axis, which agree fairly well with the numerical solution of a non-self-similar problem.  相似文献

The class of thermotropic ionic liquid crystals (LCs) of the metal alkanoates possesses a number of unique properties, such as intrinsic ionic conductivity, high dissolving ability and ability to form time-stable mesomorphic glasses. These ionic LCs can be used as nanoreactors for the synthesis and stabilisation of different types of nanoparticles (NPs). Thus, some semiconductors, metals and core/shell NPs were chemically synthesised in the thermotropic ionic liquid crystalline phase (smectic A) of the cadmium octanoate (CdC8) and of the cobalt octanoate (CoC8). By applying the scanning electron microscopy, the cadmium and cobalt octanoate composites containing CdS, Au, Ag and core/shell Au/CdS NPs have been studied. NPs’ sizes and dispersion distribution of the NPs’ size in the nanocomposites have been obtained.  相似文献

The influence of uniaxial pressure applied along the principal crystallophysical directions on the dispersion and temperature dependences of the refractive indices n i of K2ZnCl4 crystals has been investigated. The n i values are found to be fairly sensitive to uniaxial pressure, whereas an uniaxial stress does not change the behavior of the dispersion and temperature dependences of n i . The baric changes in n i have been studied. The electronic polarizability α i , refractions R, and parameters of UV oscillators (λ0i , B 1i ) of mechanically deformed K2ZnCl4 crystals have been calculated. The contributions of UV and IR oscillators to n i (λ) have been estimated for different temperatures, spectral regions, and stresses. A significant baric shift of the points of the paraelectric phase-incommensurate phase-commensurate phase transitions to different temperature ranges, depending on the direction of pressure application, is found; this shift is due to the effect of uniaxial stress on the K2ZnCl4 crystal structure.  相似文献

Highly stable and reproducible molecular-colloidal water solutions of C60 fullerenes (FWS) obtained by transferring fullerenes from an organic solution into an aqueous phase with the help of ultrasonic treatment are investigated by means of small-angle neutron scattering (SANS). A polydispersity in the size of detected particles up to 84 nm is revealed. These particles are slightly anisotropic and have a characteristic size of approximately 70 nm. Along with it, there are some indications that a significant part of fullerenes composes particles with the size of the order of 1 nm. The contrast variation based on mixtures of light and heavy water shows that the mean scattering length density of the particles is close to that of the packed fullerene associates as well as that the characteristic size of possible fluctuations of the scattering length density within the particles does not exceed 2 nm. A smooth surface resulting in the Porod law for the scattering is detected. A number of models discussed in the literature are considered with respect to the SANS data.  相似文献

The temperature dependence of the correction to electrical conductivity, Δσ, of Bi thin films (~100–200 Å thick) is measured in the region of the electron localization and interaction effects. The measurements are made without magnetic field and with magnetic fields both perpendicular and parallel to the film surface. Without magnetic field the dependence Δσ(In T) is determined by the total contribution from both effects. As the magnetic field increases, the localization contribution to Δσ decreases and at certain field values it is essentially absent so that the character of Δσ(In T) dependence is determined only by the interaction effect.  相似文献
